Levy Release or Lien Release

A Levy is a seizure of a persons assets, such as a paycheck or bank account. When a person’s paycheck has a Levy, it remains until there is a Levy Release. A Lien is a filing that affects title to Real Estate or Personal Property.

A Levy, is about the most devastating thing that the Internal Revenue Service can do to a person or business. They can Levy almost all of a persons paycheck. They can literally take your money out of the bank. A paycheck levy goes on until all of the tax, the interest and the penalties are paid in full or there is a Levy Release.

How are you supposed to live? HOW? Seemingly the IRS doesn’t care. They have a levy, they want their money and paying your house payment or rent, food and utilities doesn’t seem to matter. So, they levy paychecks and continue to take it until there is a Levy Release.

At Martelle, Bratton & Associates, We understand! We know something that you probably don’t know. That is, that there IS a way to get a levy released. If you are unable to pay your normal living expenses, such as house payment, rent, car payment, utilities, etc. AND by knowing the steps and jumping through the hoops, we can get a levy release.

The process to get your paycheck back is not simple. The IRS figures that finally they are getting paid and they are reluctant to do a Levy Release on your paycheck. But, there is a way to get your check back. It will take work and time, but it can happen if you need the paycheck for necessities.

If you qualify and you need your paycheck to pay normal living expenses, we will be able to get a Levy Release and the Internal Revenue Service won’t be able to continue to Levy and let you starve.

We have designed a Levy Release program to represent you in each of the steps necessary to get a levy release from your paycheck.
